Lord God,
You know everything about each of us,
from the number of hairs on our heads
to the content of every thought we have.
There's no hiding our sins from You.
You're aware of every one, yet You still love us.
Each of us is precious to You,
so much so that You sent Jesus to save us.
You, who created life, gave us NEW life,
and we thank You and praise You in Jesus' name.
Amen.

Dear Lord,
We thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, into this world.
He taught us Your ways, and that we should "above all,
love one another deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins".
We're in awe of how much You love us, that Jesus' ultimate
mission was to give his life for our multitude of sins.
We praise You for the babe in the manger,
the man who taught us and died for us,
and for Your grace and mercy.

Lord, help us to prepare for Your return.
Keep our minds focused on Your word.
Guide our steps to live lives that bring glory to You.
The end of Psalm 33 says:
We wait in hope for the LORD;
he is our help and our shield.
In him our hearts rejoice,
for we trust in his holy name.
May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD,
even as we put our hope in you.

Father God,
We don't know what will happen tomorrow
and oftentimes we don't understand
what happened yesterday.
But You desire our blind faith; our obedience.
You desire that we lift one another up;
that the gospel would be alive in us.
We pray that You would strengthen our faith
and give us the courage to persevere
through the tough times with thanksgiving.
We praise You, honor You, and worship You.

Holy Father,
We want to know You better.
We pray that You show us Your desires for our lives.
May Your Spirit keep us on the path that leads to You.
May we be people of peace who build each other up
and promote Christ-like behavior.

Lord God,
We pray that You would soften our hearts
to accept Your teaching today.
We know that anything is possible with You.
Amazingly, You use sinners like us
to do the work of Your kingdom.

In Your great mercy, You've given us a living hope
through the resurrection of our Savior Jesus,

Dear Lord,
We thank You for Your word.
May we boldly speak Your word,

We thank You for those who have gone before us;

We praise You for the cross of Christ.
At the cross we leave our selfishness, our

that knowledge, learn to love more like You do.

It's so easy to get lost in our worries -
the things we want to accomplish;
our concerns over health or finances;
our fear abut things we can't control.
We pray that Your peace would wash over us.
We pray that through Your word and by
Your Spirit we could replace our worrisome
and selfish thoughts, words, and actions with
things that honor You and draw others to You.

Holy Father,
We were created to worship You.
We pray that our worship be solely based in Your truth.
You are our Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer
and we study Your ways in order to live in
righteousness and self-control; to honor You.
We pray for the traits and tools
to share with the world that Jesus lives
and will return to redeem and restore God's people.

Lord God,
We thank You for loving us.
Each of us is valuable to You
and we all have a purpose.
All things - and all people -
work together to fulfill Your will on earth.
We pray for the patience and endurance to continue
to do good even when we can't see the benefit.
We pray for faith to know that You are at work in us
even when we don't get to see the fruit of our labor.
We thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus,
into this world to be our perfect example of
how to live, and in His death, our perfect Savior.

Father God,
Sometimes popular opinion leans away from You.
It can be hard to speak Your truth amongst
those who mock and belittle us.
We need not look for our comfort here on earth,
but keep our eyes fixed on the prize; on You.
We look forward to an eternity of comfort with You.
While we're on this earth, You've promised to always be with us.
Your strength backs us up. Your Spirit keeps us on track.
We pray that when we're faced with difficult decisions
You'll give us the courage and wisdom to make the right choices.

Lord God,
The bible says that You are our fortress.
Like strong walls, Your love surrounds
us every minute of every day.
We live in a fallen world where bad things happen.
But You are with us: loving us, comforting us, and guiding us.
We are blessed to know You; to feel Your power,
to study Your word and to praise You with song.
Thank You for Your constant love, guidance and provision.

Holy Father,
Too often we are consumed with guilt over our past,
immersed in our current problems, or worried about our future.
But Paul wrote that we should meditate on what is true, noble,
right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy.
That's a perfect description of You!
Help us to keep our focus on You, and give us the peace
that comes from total faith in Your goodness and mercy.

Dear Lord,
We humans were not present when You created all things,
but we get to enjoy the fruit of Your creation.
We never met the prophets of old,
but You inspired their words so we can
read with assurance that Jesus is the Messiah.
We weren't there when Jesus was raised
from death and ascended to heaven,
but You considered each one of us
and showed us love and compassion
in the promise of eternal life.
We thank You for the fruit of Your creation,
the certainty of Your word, and for the
hope of eternal life with You in heaven.

Holy Father,
We thank You for Your creation and all the beauty in it.
We thank You for providing us with all we really need.
Lord Jesus,
We thank You for leaving the perfection of heaven to
live among us, teaching us what it means to have

We thank You for enlightening us and leading us so
that we may move toward the goal of spiritual maturity.

Lord God,
We thank You for this day.
We thank You for putting us where we are today.
There's a reason for everything;
it's all part of Your perfect plan.
Help us to stay in the Word and in obedience to You.
May we be equipped and ready for whatever You ask us to do.
It may not be easy, but if it's for Your glory it will be worth it.

Lord God,
In this world there are many negative ideologies
that we are bombarded with each day.
Help us to stay focused on You and all that is true.
Give us a voice and the words to speak boldly
of Your love and redemption.
The enemy boasts his message.
May we speak loudly and clearly Your message
of the saving grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ,
in whose name we pray.

Dear Lord,
We have many faults that we struggle to overcome.
On our own, we fail; our success lies in Your power.
We invite You into this place and into our hearts.
Your love gives us comfort and courage.
Your Spirit sustains us and lights our way.
May Your love in us give others comfort and light.
We pray that You would soften the hearts of
those we encounter, and lead them to the
blessed hope of salvation through our
Lord and Savior Jesus, the Christ,

Lord God,
You created a perfect world for us to
live in, and we soiled it with our sin.
You still loved us and provided for us.
You gave the Israelites food and water
in the midst of the harsh desert.
You protected Elisha with chariots of fire.
You go to great lengths to protect
and save Your people.
You went so far as to send Your own Son
to die for us so that we may be reconciled.
We should fear nothing in this world
because You care for us and take care of us.
We are blessed by Your provision, protection
and redemption. Thank You! In Jesus' name.

Lord God,
We want to get to know You better.
We pray that You would open our
hearts and minds to Your word.
Only through Your word and the
power You provide can we endure
our hardships and even overcome them.
We put our lives in Your hands
and trust You with the outcome.

Lord God in heaven,
We are all sinners in need of the cleansing power of our Savior, Jesus.
By faith, we're no longer stuck in the mud and filth of our sinful ways.
By faith and through the power of Your Holy Spirit,
You have given us sure footing on the Rock of our salvation
where we are washed and made free of our sins.
We love and praise You for the grace and mercy You've shown us.

Holy Father,
Only You can take ignorant,
blind sinners and make us new.
Open our eyes to Your truth.
Give us wisdom so that we are not deceived.
Bring us to full repentance so that we may see
the fulfillment of Your promise to us.

mercy and faithfulness.

Lord God,
We're here to worship You with our heart, soul, mind and body.
We don't only worship You in a church building on Sunday mornings.
We pray that You set our minds straight and that our thoughts
would center on You and Your desires at ALL times.
We pray that our actions serve and honor one another,
caring for one another as if they are Jesus in our midst.
We pray that we come together as one - the body of Christ -
to do the work You've put before us.

Father God,
Today we honor the men in our lives who have
taught and guided us and loved and cared for us.
We pray for a spirit of consolation for
those whose fathers are a fond memory,
and a spirit of forgiveness for
those whose memory is not so fond.
May we all strive to show one another

Father God,
The world would have us doubt You and ourselves.
We pray for perseverance, strength and faith to overcome.
The devil tells us we can't, but Your Spirit is alive in us
and Your Spirit says we can!
We can go on another day even though it's hard.
We can forgive. We can seek You and humbly serve You.
We thank You for Your faithfulness;
for the guidance of Your Holy Spirit.

Lord God,
We know our transgressions because
our shame keeps the memory fresh.
You would be right to condemn us.
But instead, through faith in Jesus
and by Your grace,
we are cleansed of our sin.
We are filled with joy at knowing You
and receiving Your mercy.

Holy Father,
The bible repeatedly says, "Do not be afraid. God is with you."
Yet we find ourselves fearful of our circumstances,
of the future, and sometimes of others.
We pray that we would feel Your presence in our lives,
and through our reliance on You, we would overcome our fears.
You, Lord, are all-powerful, all-knowing, and perfect
and You love us completely.
We put all our concerns into Your capable hands.
We love You and we thank You for caring for us.
We pray to You in Jesus' holy name.

Holy Father,
The evil one lies to us,
and sin itself is deceitful.
Your law is perfect.
Your word shows us Your very character
and how You intend for us to live.
Help us to see through the lies of sin
that only bring us short-term gratification.
Isaiah 40:8 says,
"The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever."
Give us strength and discernment so that
through Your word and by Your Spirit
we will be led to make decisions that honor You.
We ask this in Jesus' name.

Lord God,
We praise You and we thank You for
the blessings You've bestowed upon us.
While we were still sinners, You brought salvation
to this earth through Your perfect son, Jesus.
The world sees our sin, but You see us
cleansed by the blood of the Lamb.
With Jesus as Lord of our lives, we are changed.
We are so thankful for Your grace
and mercy that make us new.

Lord God,
We thank You for offering us eternal life with You.
We give ourselves to You, as an instrument of Your will.
May our minds be focused on You and on Your desires.
May our hands do what is pleasing to You.
May our feet go where You would have us go.
We praise You for Your goodness and mercy,
and for giving us new life through our risen Savior,
Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray.

Our Lord God,
Jesus humbly rode a colt into Jerusalem.
He followed the Father's plan all the way to the cross.
We thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice on our behalf.
May we follow Your example of humility and obedience.
May we see the miracles You continue to perform in our lives
and respond with thanksgiving and praise.
We thank You for Your mercy and for Your healing hand in our lives.

We admit that we judge others.
Sometimes we judge with admiration
which leads us to envy and covet.
Other times we judge through self-righteousness.
But You, Lord, are the only worthy judge.

Help us to stop comparing ourselves to others
but rather to set our minds on what is right and true,
and give You honor by our thoughts and actions.

Lord, as we approach springtime, we look forward
to the renewal of the beauty of the landscape.
We've entered the season of Lent in the church -
a time for the renewal of our hearts and minds.
We are privileged that we can wake up each day
with a clean slate; refreshed and renewed through
faith in the saving power of Jesus Christ.
As Isaiah prophesied of Jesus,
"He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows."
And from Jeremiah, "God will remember our sins no more."
We thank You and praise You, Lord,
for Your grace that has made us new.

Heavenly Father,
We thank You for all You provide and all You do.
Without You, we can do nothing,
but with You, we can be healed.
Our negative thoughts and behavior can be changed
and we can be released of our guilt.
All this, not because of anything we've done,
but by humbly trusting in You

May our hearts be filled with Your desire
and our tongues with Your words
in thankfulness for Your grace and mercy.

Father God,
Sometimes we doubt that the path we're on is the right one.
We wonder what our purpose is,
and how we can possibly get to where we should be.
But You don't doubt.
Your plan is certain, unwavering and perfect.
We pray that You would guide our steps.
Use us as instruments of Your will.
Comfort us when we're weary
and put Your joy in our hearts.
We pray this in Jesus' name.

Lord God,
You know our hearts and You know our sins.
Your patience and steadfast love are amazing.
We pray that You would purify our hearts
and draw us closer to You.
Insignificant things - things of the flesh -
compete for our attention.
Help us to stay focused on You.
Center us in Your word and Your ways.

Holy Father in heaven,
You are our God, and we are
Your people - made in Your image.
We were created to love and worship You
and to care for others as for ourselves.
You give us all we need to fulfill that calling.
None of us are more - or less - valued,
for we are all Your children who are dearly loved.
Help us to see the world through Your eyes,
loving all Your children as You have loved us.

Awesome and gracious God,
We thank You for giving us Your Word,
and for the freedom to worship You openly.
We pray for those who are being persecuted for their faith;
that they may be strengthened by Your Holy Spirit.
Guide us, Lord, to say what needs to be said
and do what needs to be done for Your glory and renown.

Lord God,
We testify to Your awesome nature.
You know all things and Your ways are perfect.
We testify to the life, death and resurrection of
our Lord Jesus, for salvation is found in Him alone.
We testify to Your Spirit, working in us to

We pray that our worship would be pleasing in Your sight,
