Father God,
Young children can be an example of pure honesty.
A harried parent can show great patience and nurturing.
In old age, one can show immense faith in the face of death.
You use the ordinary to accomplish the extraordinary.
It is a pleasure and a privilege to be used to facilitate Your will.
We pray that by the guidance of Your Holy Spirit
we would seize every opportunity for Your ways
and good works to be produced through us.

Holy Father,
Today we acknowledge the special women
in our lives who have loved and nurtured us.
We pray that You would bless them.
May we learn from their example to speak
kind words of wisdom and to consider
others' needs above our own.
We pray Your comfort for those
who feel loss or loneliness today.
We praise You for our humble beginnings
and for all the women who have aided us
in growing in Your love.

Father God,

and for answered prayers.

prevalent in this place, and that
we may be vessels of that same Spirit.
