Lord God,
We admit that we judge others.
Sometimes we judge with admiration
which leads us to envy and covet.
Other times we judge through self-righteousness.
But You, Lord, are the only worthy judge.
Our guilt convicts us,
but Your kindness and mercy pardons us.
Help us to stop comparing ourselves to others
but rather to set our minds on what is right and true,
and give You honor by our thoughts and actions.
In Jesus' name,
