Holy Father,
We thank You for Your goodness and mercy
and for Your patience when we go astray.
Sometimes we strive for things and lose sight of the fact
that You provide us with all we need at just the right time.
Help us to fix our eyes on You and
look forward to our reward in heaven.
We thank You for all the men in our lives who
have helped to show us Your ways and Your love
through their example and their guidance.
We pray Your blessings on them
as we honor them on this Father's Day.

Father God,
Young children can be an example of pure honesty.
A harried parent can show great patience and nurturing.
In old age, one can show immense faith in the face of death.
You use the ordinary to accomplish the extraordinary.
It is a pleasure and a privilege to be used to facilitate Your will.
We pray that by the guidance of Your Holy Spirit
we would seize every opportunity for Your ways
and good works to be produced through us.

Holy Father,
Today we acknowledge the special women
in our lives who have loved and nurtured us.
We pray that You would bless them.
May we learn from their example to speak
kind words of wisdom and to consider
others' needs above our own.
We pray Your comfort for those
who feel loss or loneliness today.
We praise You for our humble beginnings
and for all the women who have aided us
in growing in Your love.

Father God,
We thank You for this beautiful day,
and for answered prayers.
We ask that Your Holy Spirit be
prevalent in this place, and that
we may be vessels of that same Spirit.
We pray that You bless our ministry.
Keep us in Your word so that Your
light may shine through us
and bring others to the faith.
To You be the glory forever.

Halleluia! Jesus is alive!
He has overcome death and saved us from our sin.
We praise God for His plan; for His grace and mercy.
We look forward to Jesus' final return, and to
residing with You in our heavenly home.

You came in peace; in perfection;
the sacrificial Lamb sent to save us.
We honor You and we worship You.

We thank You for each new day,
when we can start fresh and make good choices.
We thank You for Your word, and the freedom
to read it and the ability to learn from it.
We thank You for providing for all our needs.
May we use our time, talents and resources
wisely for Your purposes, in thankfulness
for Your love and mercy.

Lord God,
We welcome You into our hearts and minds.
Be within us.
Guide us to choose to do the right thing;
to say uplifting words; to give to those in need.
Use us, imperfect as we are, to help accomplish
Your will through the power of Your Spirit.
Thank You for the gift of salvation through
Your Son, Jesus, in whose name we pray.

In 2nd Chronicles 7:14 God says, "If my people, who are called by my name,
will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
Father God,
In the face of our societal problems, may we be people
who reflect Your love; people of faith and prayer.
Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart! I have overcome the world."
There is only one permanent solution to the evils of the
world - one day, Jesus will return and make things right.
Until that time, we pray that You fill us with love and
compassion for our fellow man, and strengthen our prayer life.

Lord God,
Work, relationships and finances can cloud our
thoughts and blind us to what's important.
May Your word shed light into our soul.
Speak to us through our worship
and in our everyday lives.
Open our eyes to Your will.
We thank You for the promise of
salvation through the sacrifice of our
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
in whose name we pray.

Lord Jesus,
We welcome you into this place - and into our hearts - today.

We all need a life-changing Saul/Paul experience.
Uncover our blind eyes to understand Your ways.

so we may persist with assurance.

Lord God,
We thank You and praise You for providing for our needs.
We thank You and praise You for loving us and
forgiving our misdeeds through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.
We thank You and praise You for Your holy word;
teaching us Your ways and Your desires.
We thank You and praise You for Your Holy Spirit -
always with us; guiding and protecting us and leading us to You.

Lord God,
You made a promise that You would not
leave us; that Your Spirit would remain.
You are a good and perfect Father
and Your promise is true.
We are so blessed that You are
guiding us to righteousness,
calming us through life's storms,
and lovingly correcting us when we err.
We pray for Your forgiveness for our errors -
that You would cleanse us of all guilt
by the blood of our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray.

Holy Father,
You created us, and You know each one of us.
You brought Your people out of the desert
and led them into the promised land.
While we were still sinners, You provided for our
atonement through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus.
You care for us and You keep Your promises.
You told us You would always be with us and
You gave us Your Holy Spirit who comforts us,
guides us, and intercedes on our behalf.
Thank You for Your love, Your provision,
Your sacrifice, and Your promises.

Heavenly Father,
We pray that You help us to be
people who show Your love to others.

You love us, and have redeemed us,

We come to You as Your children -
sometimes ashamed and deserving of Your correction,

Like children, we want to make decisions and
manage our destiny, but You are in control.
We give You our lives - our hopes and concerns -
and pray for the patience and faith to trust You.

You are above all things and before all things; the Alpha and Omega.
You created all things in heaven and earth.
You know all things - past, present, and future.
You can do all things, and You are in control.
You love and care for us, not because of who we are
or what we do, but because of who YOU are.
You are gracious and loving, wanting none of us to perish, but desiring
that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
