Lord God,
We pray that You would soften our hearts
to accept Your teaching today.
We know that anything is possible with You.
Amazingly, You use sinners like us
to do the work of Your kingdom.
Open our ears to hear the Spirit's call.
Equip us to be ready to share Your love
and Your word with those we encounter.
In Jesus' name,

Holy Father,
In Your great mercy, You've given us a living hope
through the resurrection of our Savior Jesus,
and an inheritance that can never fade.
You give all this freely - out of Your immense love.
You only desire our love, faith and obedience in return.
May our worship be fully to Your glory; praising Your kindness.
In Jesus' name,

Dear Lord,
We thank You for Your word.
May we boldly speak Your word,
and the peace it brings,
in our homes and in our communities.
Keep us safe from those who oppose us,
and help us to respond to them with love.
We pray for peace in our nation,
and that all would turn to You.
May the good news - the gospel of Jesus -
fill us all with joy.
