Dear Lord,
We thank You for Your word.
May we boldly speak Your word,
and the peace it brings,
in our homes and in our communities.
Keep us safe from those who oppose us,
and help us to respond to them with love.
We pray for peace in our nation,
and that all would turn to You.
May the good news - the gospel of Jesus -
fill us all with joy.
In Jesus' holy name we pray.
