Holy Father,
We come to You as Your children -
sometimes ashamed and deserving of Your correction,
and sometimes afraid and in need of Your comfort.
You are the perfect Father, providing us with
exactly what we need at precisely the right time.
Like children, we want to make decisions and
manage our destiny, but You are in control.
We give You our lives - our hopes and concerns -
and pray for the patience and faith to trust You.
We thank You for providing for our needs.
We praise You for Your goodness and mercy.
