Lord God,
Your ways are perfect, and Your words are true and certain.
You hear our prayers and You answer them at the right time.
Guide our hearts and minds to prepare us
for the work You would have us do.
Give us the energy we need, a willingness to serve,
and the faith to heed the Spirit's calling.
