Dear Father in heaven,

We praise You for Your goodness and mercy.

Your ways are perfect.

We struggle with our sinful nature.

Open our hearts to receive the fruit of the Spirit

and become more and more like You.

Teach us to love as You do

and to forgive as You do.

We thank You for our fathers, Lord,

and for all the men in our lives who guide us

with their love and advice.
